About S and S Food Services

After providing in-house catering at ICTY and OPCW for many years, we have “landed” at the beautiful Peace Palace. From this home base we provide business catering for the Peace Palace, event catering for international organizations in particular and party catering at any desired level.

From 2018 we also have the honor to operate the restaurant "Des Juges" and we are also very proud of our title "preferred supplier" of the Peace Palace. S and S Food Services also operates with its separate catering branch on location, at your home or at high-profile locations in the Hague region.

Sustainability - CSR

Every day we provide catering at a high service level and with lots of passion. It is also our goal to make a contribution to society. As a fairly small company, we have always been unconsciously aware of responsible business practices with regard to humans and animals. Many people, when thinking about Corporate Social Responsiblity actually only think about working with organic products, but corporate responsibility goes further than that. Naturally, animal welfare is very important to us and we therefore encourage our guests to make more vegetarian choices at events and in our daily restaurant. If meat and / or fish are nevertheless chosen, we will ensure that this is as organic as possible.

For example, our changing menus are tailored to the season's produce and we work with local suppliers as much as possible. We are allergic to food waste, we use products as completely as possible and prepare everything on location.

We also pay attention to small things such as only running a full dishwasher, not running the tap continuously and using environmentally friendly disposables, which are becoming increasingly more biodegradable.

It may all seem fairly small-scale, but we believe that we can also make a daily contribution to a sustainable world in our own modest way.
